Douglas Goodhart is the fourth generation of the Goodhart family to own and operate Goodhart Shoes and Foot Care and is the senior member of the team. He studied Pedorthics at Northwestern University in Chicago and in Germany. He is the founder of the Euro-Pedorthic Association of America (EPAA). He has discovered the secret of plantar fasciitis resolution.
Doug was also associate professor of music at San Diego State University and is a professional musician specializing in musical traditions throughout the world (See bio at www.Zouklfest.com). He has worked as a professional chef at Hotel de Paris et de la Poste in Sens, France (www.hotel-paris-poste.com). His hobbies are oil painting, astronomy and longbow archery. Douglas and David are founding members of The Shoe String Band, whose CD can be purchased through Goodhart Shoes and Foot Care.

Laurence Goodhart was born and raised in Burgundy, France. After studying law in France and Germany she became Regional Director of Personnel for La Saur, the third largest water company in France. She has been in the United States since 1996, where she apprenticed at Goodhart Shoes and Foot Care. Her Euro-Pedorthic fitting skills are of the highest level. She is also responsible for the wonderful, one-of-a-kind shoe styles at Goodhart Shoes and Foot Care. Laurence is a wonderful artist. Aquiles Lamas was born and raised in Zacatecas, Mexico. He worked for the Tony Lama Boot Company as an ornamental stitcher, producing intricate designs on some of their finest boots. He came to Goodhart Shoes and Foot Care in 1980 and apprenticed in shoe making, shoe repair, and orthotics with Doug and his father, Leon Goodhart.

David Agee, the newest member of our team, joined the facility in 2002. David is a Euro-Pedorthist. He and Doug have been friends for over 20 years and have played in many musical ensembles together. David is a professional performer of Irish music, Appalachian music and the Blues.
